Every year hundreds of animal crusaders head out to the Ronald Reagan Building for the doggie event of the year. The Washington Humane Society celebrated its annual Sugar & Champagne Affair honoring all those in the fight against animal cruelty. Scrumptious confections provided by the areas top pastry chefs, unique sparkling wines & spirits from around the world, and even a cake challenge, the Sugar & Champagne Affair proved to be a huge hit yet again.
From bacon candy to mudslide milkshake shots to peanut butter & banana dog bones, everybody indulged in treats to satisfy. Hosted by Chef Todd Gray and Ellen Kassoff Gray, this was a wonderful evening of food, champagne, sweets, and treats.
